A. Worked as Surveyor/GIS Analyst/ for CSGS, WRC, Pokhara from 18th Dec 2019 – 7 th March 2019

• Locational data of the major parts of the Pokhara metropolitan city was tracked for the soil survey using GPS, along with collecting the non-spatial (attribute) data from the local people.

• The soil samples from those places were collected to study the nature of the soil in the different places within Pokhara.

• Collected data were analyzed, the missed data during the GPS survey were interpolated, the unwanted data were cleared and a data mining technique was applied to extract the information from a data set and

• Transformation into a comprehensive structure for further use such as preparation of the different soil layers.

• These prepared different soil layers were used to prepare different soil class maps. From this, the suitability of the different crops was analyzed and studied.
